CarryKit does not collect, transmit or store any of your personal data. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server. Everything you put into the app stays on your device.
Your gear, your carries, your photos, your notes, your weights and prices, and your display settings are saved locally on your device using your browser engine's own storage (IndexedDB and local storage). This data is never uploaded anywhere. We cannot see it, and we have no way to retrieve it.
When you add a photo to an item, you choose it through your device's own picker. The app copies that image into its local storage and does not request camera or photo-library permissions beyond what the picker itself provides. Your photos are never uploaded.
The app makes no network requests of its own: it does not contact any server
operated by the developer, and it works entirely offline. The only network use
is by your app store's billing service when you make or restore a purchase. (On
Android the app declares the INTERNET permission solely for this; on
iOS the purchase is handled by the system.)
CarryKit offers a single one-time in-app purchase that unlocks editing after the trial period. The purchase is handled entirely by the app store you installed from — Apple's App Store on iOS or Google Play Billing on Android. That store processes the payment and is the data controller for the transaction; its handling is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy or the Google Privacy Policy respectively. The developer never receives, sees or stores your payment details, card number, billing address or email.
The app records only whether a purchase has been made, as a flag stored on your device.
PDF exports, shared images and backup files are created on your device at your request. Where they go afterwards is entirely your choice — the app hands the file to your device's own share or save dialog and nothing more. A backup file contains your own catalogue; treat it as you would any personal file.
CarryKit is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Because nothing leaves your device, there is nothing for us to delete. To remove all of your data, uninstall the app or clear its storage from your device's app settings. This is immediate and permanent, so export a backup first if you want to keep your catalogue.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top. Since the app collects nothing, any change is likely to be a clarification rather than a new practice.
